PURSUANT TO FAR OVERHAUL 5.101(a), THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT’S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER TO USGBF NSF, LLC (UEI EYWQCYTNLJ28) AS LESSOR OF BUILDING FOR SPACE PLANNING, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Facilities Management Services (OFMS), intends to award a sole source purchase order to USGBF NSF, LLC (Lessor) to provide Space Planning, Design, and Construction Administration Services in support of the new HUD Headquarters at the Eisenhower Building in Alexandria, Virginia. HUD Headquarters, located at 2415 Eisenhower Avenue, Alexandria, VA is leased through the General Services Administration (GSA), which holds an exclusive lease agreement with Lessor. In accordance with the GSA lease agreement, Lessor is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and implementing alterations required to accommodate HUD space changes. Under this lease, HUD may request services, design, and renovation work; however, Lessor is contractually responsible for executing all such requests. The period of performance will be 12 Months. In accordance with FAR Overhaul 12.102 (a), for acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold, the Contracting Officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available as there is only one Lessor. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
