Supporting Digital Transformation in the Peruvian Amazon

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION DATE OF ISSUANCE: April 5, 2024 CLOSING DATE: April 29, 2024, 5:00 pm (Lima Local Time) SUBJECT: Request for Information (RFI) - New Activity: "Supporting Digital Transformation in the Peruvian Amazon". The United States Government, represented by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the Republic of Peru is designing an activity that aims to strengthen conditions that contribute to economic growth through digital transformation processes in rural areas of the Amazon, where many people have transitioned from being involved in illicit activities to seeking opportunities for licit economic development. This Request for Information (RFI) is not restricted to any organization category. This RFI has the following purposes: 1. Obtain comments and critiques on the draft activity description presented in Section III. 2. Gather ideas, strategies, and/or approaches on how to facilitate a digital transformation process in Amazonian territories where alternative development activities have been implemented, thus contributing to the economic development of these areas. 3. Request capability statements from interested entities. A courtesy Spanish version is provided in Annex I. Nevertheless, the English version takes precedence in case of discrepancies. USAID intends to restrict this opportunity to local entities as defined in ADS 303.6. USAID also reserves the right to restrict competition to ONLY entities that present solid capability statements in response to this RFI.
