Notice Type: Combine Synopsis/Solicitation Notice Number: VA263-13-Q-0396 The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23, Minneapolis, Minnesota, has a requirement for gift cards to be given to research study participants, NAICS Code: 522210, Federal Supply Classification: R703. Minneapolis VA Medical Center's Research Service is requesting to purchase a quantity of 400 credit cards with a face value of $50 to be given to research study participants. This research study is titled "Helping Families Help Veterans with PTSD and Alcohol Abuse" and has been approved by Health Services Research and Development and by the Institutional Review Board (IBR). Also, requested is to have each credit card customized with a "VA RINGS" logo, which stands for "Readiness and Resilience in National Guard Soldiers" and is the parent study for the research study related to this requirement. These credit cards will have a strict non-reloadable dollar limit of $50 dollars each. Each credit card will be customized with a "VA RINGS" logo. If customization fees will apply, such fees will be included in the quote response. If initial loading fees will apply to the credit cards, such fees will be included in the quote response. Unused credit cards will be allowed to be returned for a full refund. If processing/service fee will apply on unused cards, such fees will be included in the quote response. This notice will be effective Wednesday, 1/9/13 and will close Friday, 1/18/13 at 1:00 pm central time.
