This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1282CS18Q0011 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-97. This requirement is solicited as a Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns (Total Small Business Set-Aside) under NAICS code 532412, Construction, Mining and Forestry Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing with a U. S. Small Business Administration size standard of $32.5 Million. This is a requirement for the rental of a trail dozer for the Dolores Ranger District of the San Juan National Forest in Dolores, CO. Offered products must meet the minimum attached specifications to be considered for award. Quoted price must include delivery to Dolores, CO 81323 and pickup from same location at end of rental period. The FAR provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Additional clauses and provisions applicable to this acquisition are attached. Evaluation shall be made on a Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. Award will be made using the SF1449 for Commercial Items.
