USAID/Peru and South America Regional (SAR) Locally Led Development Initiative

The Peru-SAR Locally Led Development Initiative seeks to engage local private and civil sectors in priority areas as defined by the partner governments in the region and the United States Government (USG). This initiative is designed to increase sustainability and impact in the area of Protecting Environmental Defenders in the Peruvian Amazon as outlined in Section V of the APS and its amendments. Only Local Entities as defined in ADS 303.6 are eligible under this solicitation. To apply, interested Local Entities must submit a 2-page concept paper. Applicants are highly encouraged to have a 1:1 privately secured matching contribution to the requested funding.
