RECOVERY Dads Hand Pile

THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009 (ARRA). The Government intends to award a task order contract to a Malheur National Forest Thinning & Fuels Reduction IDIQ contract holder. ONLY the parent contract holders under this contract are eligible for award. This project is for the hand piling of approximately 502 acres on the Prairie City Ranger District. Units shall be piled so that residual fuel loading (after piles are burned) is a maximum of 7 tons per acre in material 1 to 9 inches in diameter. Piles shall be constructed in such a manner as to easily ignite, combust completely, contain fire within the pile perimeter, and do minimal damage to residual trees. ------------------------- THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
