General Project Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District is anticipating a solicitation to renovate an existing warehouse used for material disposition for the Department of Defense. The warehouse is approximately 55,900 Square Foot (SF) with a total of one bay. General work to be performed includes: demolition of existing pallet racks, security cage, and associated warehouse equipment diamond polishing/repairing concrete floors/add striping installation of pallet racks, pallet wrapping machines, and security cage install forklift charging stations with exhaust and eyewash systems remove/replace lighting to LED install pre-fabricated offices install furniture The solicitation will be a competitive Invitation for Bid (IFB) in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36.213 entitled "special procedures for sealed bidding in construction contracting."
