Renovations of lobby and Federal Occupation of Health in Runnels Federal Building

The General Services Administration (GSA) Region 7 has a requirement for the general renovation of existing space. The requirement is to perform renovations to the Lobby of the Runnels Federal Building, which is approximately 3,766 sq. ft. and to construct the GSA FOH Unit, which is approximately 733 sq. ft. The work includes but may not be limited to demolition of existing walls, flooring and ceilings, new interior partition walls & ceilings, glazing systems, casework, as well as new mechanical, electrical & plumbing. All work will be performed at the Runnels Federal Building located at 200 E. Griggs, Las Cruces, New Mexico. This contract opportunity is a total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code is 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated price range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Registration is required on the System for Award Management (SAM online at www.sam.gov) website. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. All eligible and responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. To obtain a copy of the solicitation, firms must request the solicitation by submitting a one page letter on company letterhead. GSA retains the right to publish and distribute the list of offerors to other interested parties (i.e., subcontractors, etc.). It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about June 6, 2014. The anticipated contract type will be firm fixed price. Award will be made based upon low price technically acceptable in accordance with FAR Part 15.101-2 and the terms in the solicitation. A site visit will be scheduled and announced in the solicitation. Electronic proposals to the solicitation will not be accepted.
