Synopsis The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) construction project, which is 100% set aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) small business firms. In Accordance with (IAW) FAR 4.1102, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM), contractor(s) shall be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. Contractors that are Debarred, Suspended, or Proposed for Debarment are excluded from receiving contracts. Agencies also shall not consent to subcontract with these contractors. The NAICS code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $36.5M. The procurement is entitled: Reconstruction and replacement of three exterior doors and three interior doors located on the National Institute of Standards and Technology Boulder, CO campus. As follows: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to install three exterior doors and three interior doors to comply with international building codes on the NIST Boulder campus. The work will include, but not limit to, removal of existing doors and fames, widening of select doorways to comply with international building codes, installation of new doors / frames, as well as the installation of handicap openers at loading dock and ramp areas. Work is to be completed IAW the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and contract drawings. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will only be available on the FBO website (www.fbo.gov). Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Note: No hard copy documents will be available. All project information is available free of charge on the www.fbo.gov website. Completion time is approximately 180 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
