Z -- Base Roofing

The 7th Contracting Squadron intends to proceed to award an 8(a) sole source acquisition to AFCO Technologies, Inc, 1535 Brady Blvd, San Antonio, Texas 78229. The requirement is to provide roofing for the USAF at Dyess AFB, TX. The forthcoming RFP document, Reference No: FA4661-05-R-R0016, and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2001-06. This acquisition has a NAICS code of 238160, SIC of 1761, Employee Standard/Size Standard of $12M, and FSC of Z159. Contractor must also be CCR registered to receive the aforementioned award. Construction practices IAW FAR Part 36 still apply. The expected Period of Performance will be from 15 April 2005 thru 14 April 2007. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation documents issued for the proposed action. Interested parties may identify their interest and respond to the Special Notice. The government will consider all expressions of interest received within five days (5) after date of publication of this Special Notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for future endeavors.
