Z -- IDQ REPAIR ELECTRICAL

DynCorp Technical Services a CSC Company (DTS) contemplates issue of a solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDQ) contract. IDQ term is expected to be two (2) years and be solicited under RFP070P. Funds are not currently available for this solicitation. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or DTS should funding not be provided. DTS reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date in the absence of funding. This project has Fill or Kill authority. Fill or Kill authority projects may be funded with only FY04 fallout money that may become available prior to fiscal year end or after fiscal year end but not later than 31 December 2004. Fill or Kill authority offers may be opened the day offers are due or at sometime in the future when funding has been promised but no later then 31 December 2004. All offers presented must provide for acceptance through 31 December 2004 or offers will be considered non-responsive. Should no funding be promised the offers may remain unopened. The IDQ REPAIR ELECTRICAL would consist of four independent projects providing for work under this contract to include furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to remove an existing 12.5 KV over head primary power pole line including any secondary, and EMCS, cable on the existing poles and replace the over head system with a new 12.5 KV underground primary power line system. Work to include the installation of primary duct system complete with wire, switchgear, sectionalizing switches, and concrete pads for equipment as needed along with other associated equipment as required. Installation of EMCS duct, wiring, hand holes, pedestals, removal of existing pole line and associated equipment as required to provide a complete operational system. Minimum Delivery in the IDQ would be one (1) complete project. Receipt of minimum funding would allow for award of the IDQ to occur. In the event the IDQ is awarded Delivery Order(s) will be issued for work if and when funding is received.
