N--MABI BELVEDERE PELLET BOILER SYSTEM

The National Park Service, Northeast Region, New England Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a construction requirement at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park (MABI NHP) in Woodstock, VE. Work will consist of providing all labor, qualified supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies and incidentals for installation of a Pellet Boiler Heating System and construction of an addition to house the pellet boiler at Belvedere Complex, MABI NHP, Woodstock, Vermont The major elements of work include: 1. Building demolition; 2. Construction of an addition (about 185 SF) to house the pellet boiler, equipment and storage, including reinforced concrete foundations, wood framing, insulation, finishes and copper roofing systems. 3. Installation of pellet boiler mechanical system; 4. Plumbing 5. Fire Protection 6. Electrical SOLICITATION NUMBER: P17PS01916. PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation (IFB) and its attachments will be issued on or about 7/21/17 and will be available free of charge through the Government wide point of entry Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at https://www.fbo.gov and the FedConnect website https://www.fedconnect.net/. The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $250,000 and $500,000. TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by end of August. Federal Construction Wage Rates for Windsor County, Vermont will apply. EVALUATION FACTORS: North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238220, and the size standard is $15 million.
