U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service Commodity Procurement Staff DATE: August 3, 2015 USDA COOKED TURKEY TACO FILLING PURCHASE PROGRAM ANNOUNCED: The U.S. Department of Agriculture today announced plans to purchase cooked turkey taco filling (100119) for the National School Lunch Program and other Federal food and nutrition assistance programs. A Request for Proposal (Solicitation) will be issued in the near future for an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) firm, fixed price with economic price adjustment contract. The solicitation will be for a Base Period for deliveries from December 1, 2015 through November 30, 2016, plus a one year Option Period for deliveries from December 1, 2016 through November 30, 2017. All offers must be submitted electronically through the Web-Based Supply Chain Management (WBSCM) website at -http://www.usda.gov/wps/portal/usda/usdahome?navid=WBSCM. Offers submitted by any means other than WBSCM will be considered non-responsive. Offerors are urged to review all documents that pertain to this program. The Qualification Requirements for the Prospective Contractors Selling Commodities to USDA, dated October 2014, is available on the AMS Commodity Procurement website at http://www.ams.usda.gov/sites/default/files/media/Prospective_Vendor_Qualifications%5B1%5D.pdf. To assist with vendor participation, AMS will host a telephone conference call at the date and time to be announced at the issuance of the Solicitation.
