Fresh Fruit and Vegetables for DoD and NoN-DoD Customers in Northern California and NW Nevada

The Defense Supply Center (DSCP) intends to solicit for a full-line produce support for various DOD and Non-DOD facilities located in Northern California and NW Nevada. This is an unrestricted acquisition. The total length of the contract will be four and a half (4.5) years. It contains one (18 month) base period and two (18 month) option periods. Its estimated total maximum dollar amount is $23,278,513.04 including options. DSCP intends to make one award (1) per zone, but reserves the right to award more than one (1) contract per zone. The delivery points require indefinite quantities of Fresh Fruit and Vegetables throughout the term of the contract. A more detailed listing of the delivery sites can be found in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP). Copies of the solicitation will be found on the DLA-EBS Internet Bid Board System at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. Anticipated solicitation issue date: May 17, 2010. This solicitation will be issued under FAR 15.101-2 Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). The resultant award will be for an indefinite delivery contract, with a guaranteed minimum of 10% and a maximum of 150% for Non-DoD customers and 200% for DoD Customers of the actual award value.
