The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire on a small business set aside using acquisition procedures detailed in FAR Part 12 entitled “Commercial Items� for six sets of Aluminum Alloy Sand Castings, each set contains 12 units. The Aluminum Alloy Sand Castings will be in accordance with (IAW) ASTM B26/B26M and have Inspection Specifications IAW AMS-STD-2175, Class 2, Grade B. The castings will be IAW Drawings that will be provided as an attachment in the Solicitation. This material will be used in support of NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck, NJ. The Required Delivery Date (RDD) for these castings is no later than 31 Jan 2013. Offerors who cannot make meet this RDD will not be considered. RFQ # N00189-13-T-Z004 will be made available electronically and posted to https://www.neco.navy.mil on or about 18 October 2012. Interested parties should monitor the NECO website for any updates and/or amendments. The applicable NAICS Code is 331524. Award of a firm fixed price contract is anticipated. The Government’s obligation is contingent upon Congress enacting the FY13 appropriations. Resultant contract will include a total of 72 Aluminum Alloy Sand Casting units IAW the Specifications and Drawings.
