20--Annual synopsis of repair Basic Ordering Agreement N0010412GA100 for repair of electron tubes by Communications and Power Industries - Microwave Power Products Division, Palo Alto, CA (CAGE 99313)

This is the NAVSUP Weapon System Support (NAVSUP WSS) synopsis for FY2015 orders to be placed under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00104-12-G-A100 for the repair of various electron tubes. CPI-MPPD (CAGE 99313) is the original equipment manufacturer and the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings, and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. The top dollar value item on this BOA is the Electron Tube, NSN 7HH 5960-01-373-5313, five (5) per year. All items on the BOA require Government source approval prior to contract award, since the items are critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of these motors has been solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain these motors in time to meet Government requirements, award of the subject requirement may continue based on Fleet support needs.
