AN/APR-39 to AN/AAR-47 Operator Interface Improvements & Phase 2 Software Development

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to a modification to Delivery Order 6 under BOA N00019-08-G-0012 for Engineering Support for AN/APR-39 to AN/AAR-47 Operator Interface Improvements and Phase 2 Software Development on Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) Basis to Northrop Grumman (NGC) in Rolling Measodws, Illinois on a sole source basis for the following effort. The Operator Interface Improvement activity will address existing interoperability issues related to the AN/APR-39 Radar Signal Detection Set (RSDS) and AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning System (MWS). Phase 2 Software Development tasks relate to the implementation of any needed AN/APR-39 and AN/AAR-47 OFP changes, provide software for test and evaluation and support a fleet release. The action is being awarded on a sole source basis as NGC is the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the AN/AAR-47 design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
