REPAIR OF MULTIBEAM SYSTEM

The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to RESON, INC., Goleta, CA, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. Reson, Inc. developed and maintains the 8125 Multibeam System, which is proprietary and not available via other vendors. The requirement is for repair of the 8125 Multibeam System, including replacement of the projector, cable, all O Rings, Lamp Holder assembly in processor; resurface array; calibrate receiver cards in processor with head assembly; repair cable; clean unit; and test/evaluation of the system. The anticipated contract value is $35,000.00 with an anticipated award date of 22 Jun 2009. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The resulting purchase order will be firm, fixed price.
