This effort is for the upgrade of the AV8B engine monitoring unit. The part number being upgraded is 612/1/46170/006. When upgraded, the part number is 612/1/46170/004. The input NIIN is 99-378-4518 and the output NIIN is 99-779-5932. This effort is sole source to Meggitt Avionics, cage K0100. They are the only source that possesses the manufacturing capability for this upgrade. All interested sources may submit a proposal/qualification statement that will be evaluated by the agency. However, a pending source approval shall not hold up award based on the fleets needs.
