59--Hardware for the assembly of MK 41 VLS, Next Generation (NG-2) Launch Control Units (LCU)-Power Supply Assemblies, EMI Filters and Power Conditioners

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Philadelphia Site intends to solicit, on a sole source basis, the procurement of hardware for the assembly of MK 41 VLS, Next Generation (NG-2) Launch Control Units (LCU) from HiRel Systems, LLC. The items to be procured are Power Supply Assemblies, EMI Filters and Power Conditioners. The solicitation is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) type contract. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 335999. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at www.neco.navy.mil. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors shall be required to submit both price and technical proposals. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. See www.ccr.gov for further information and instructions. The solicitation is expected to be released within 15 days of this posting. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed Contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
