16 -- Engineering services using Goodrich proprietary information for the Redesign, Initial Detailed Design Phase of a replacement Digital Control Unit (DCU) for the Joint Program Office, PMA-257

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Sole Source Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0006 to Goodrich Control Systems LTD, UK, for engineering services using Goodrich proprietary information for the Redesign, Initial Detailed Design Phase of a replacement Digital Control Unit (DCU) for the Joint Program Office, PMA-257. Once the concept design phase has been completed the DCU460 project will enter the detailed design phase with the majority of the work being focused on producing the initial design which will roll through evolution into production. A number of peripheral areas will have starting tasks such as Hardware and Software Integration Testing (HSIT) and Product Acceptance Testing (PATS) from the integration and test equipment.
