16 -- 16 ? Goodrich Obsolence Study on F402-RR-408, UK MK 105 and MK 107 Engine Accessories

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to award a Sole Source Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-07-G-0006 to Goodrich Control Systems LTD, UK, for engineering services using Goodrich proprietary information for the Obsolescence Management Study of engine accessories to include the Gas Turbine Starter (GTS), Digital Engine Control System (DECS), Digital Engine Control Unit (DECU), Fuel Metering Unit (FMU), Pilot Lever Angle Unit (PLAU) and any other Goodrich accessories not identified. Goodrich is to provide a detailed report of its findings to include listing of projected obsolete parts/materials and identified by: Accessory affected, commericial part numbers, nomenclature, and estimate as to when the item will no longer be supportable, a risk matrix, and a recommendation for best course of action.
