NAVAIR would like to express its appreciation to all those who took the time and effort to respond to N00019-10-R-0094. Based on the information received, our customer, the NATO Air Training Command - Afghanistan (NATC-A), has decided not to pursue the L-39 as the Close Air Support (CAS) training platform. NATC-A and the Afghanistan Air Force (AAF) are reassessing their CAS requirements to determine an appropriate course of action.
