16 -- CH-53D Engine Air Particle Separator (EAPS) Barrell Sealing Modification

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) delivery order under Basic Ordering AgreementN00019-03-G-0003 on an other than full and open competitive basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Company (SAC), 6900 Main Street, P.O. Box 9731, Stratford, CT 06615-9129, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the United States Marine Corps and Navy Heavy Lift Helicopter. The anticipated work is for SAC to deliver an engineering change proposal, technical directive and modification kits for validation and verification of the CH-53D EAPS Barrell Sealing Modification. SAC is the only known source with the knowledge, experience, expertise, and proprietary technical data required to successfully perform these tasks. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
