This is a notice of intent to negotiate with Rolls-Royce Corporation, 2001 South Tibbs Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46206-0420 on an other than full and open competitive basis for award of a new Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the AE1107C and T406-AD-400 Engines for equipment, supplies and services specifically excluded under Contracts N00019-93-C-0052 and N00019-95-C-0209. This contract will primarily cover engine repair and maintenance efforts that are not currently covered by Rolls-Royce’s V-22 Commercial Power by the Hour (PBTH) maintenance agreement. This effort will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Rolls-Royce Corporation is the designer, developer and sole producer of the T406-AD-400 and AE family of engines, and is the only source with sufficient prerequisite repair and maintenance knowledge necessary to perform these efforts.
