89 -- PROVIDE FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES (FF&V) FOR 36 COMMISSARIES LOCATED IN THE EAST REGION OF THE DEFENSE COMMISSARY AGENCY

The purpose of this modification is to replace Modification 1 posted on February 02, 2006 and to add the DeCA West Region stores which changes the Title to read as follows:TITLE: 89 -- FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FOR 36 COMMISSARIES LOCATED IN DeCA WEST AND EAST REGIONS. Modification 2 also makes the following changes and additions to the original presolicitation notice posted on January 12, 2006: (1) Contractor is to provide a full-line assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables (FF&V) for 36 commissary locations in DeCA's West and East Regions; (2) The Dugway PG, UT commissary (Group 1) will be a direct delivery location. The store is not supported out of the Hill AFB commissary; therefore, orders will placed directly with the contractor and the contractor must make deliveries directly to this location; (3) The places of performance are as follows: Group 1 includes 16 commissaries located in Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, and Wyoming. Group 2 includes 20 commissaries located in New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas; (4) Businesses interested in seeking teaming and/or subcontracting arrangements may register as an Interested Vendor for this solicitation at http://www.fbo.gov/spg/ODA/DeCA/DeCA-DOMS2/HDEC02%2D06%2DR%2D0003/listing.html. Businesses may also utilize the Small Business Administration's (SBA) SUB-Net bulletin board to post sources sought notices for teaming partners and subcontractors for solicitations and future contracts.
