V -- Towing, Storage, Maintenance and Disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles, Eastern District of Virginia

The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized and forfeited vehicles in the Eastern District of Virginia. The vehicles will include production sized cars, trucks, vans, motorcycles, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract with a contract term of a base year, with four one-year options, for a total of five years. THIS SOLICITATION IS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. It is anticipated that solicitation number DJMS-05-Q-0003 will be issued on or about March 16, 2005. This solicitation will be distributed through the General Services Administration Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: http://www.eps.gov. The EPS provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the EPS site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the EPS site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
