S -- SNOW REMOVAL

The work includes all labor, transportation, supervision, management, materials and equipment necessary to provide snow and ice removal services for various off-base areas and facilities associated with the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT. The resultant contract will be for a base period and four 12-month option periods to be exercised by the Government, without further notice, if found to be in its best interests. FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be included in this solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 488490, Other Support Operations for Road Transportation; The Small Business Standard is $6.0 million. The solicitation will be available on or about 17 Oct 2005 in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors must register for the solicitation in order to download from the ESOL website and to receive notification of amendments to the solicitation.
