The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate a Time and Mateirals order under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-07-G-0008, with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, P.O Box 31600, Amarillo, TX 79120 on Sole source basis to perform trade study analyses associated with risk mitigarion activities and recommendations addressing new and emerging weapon system requirements. Specific areas to be analyzed include but are not limited to reliabilty and maintainabilty (R&M) improvements, parts obsolescence risk mitigation, and studies to assess the feasibilty of cost reduction initatives for the V-22 air craft. These studies will also include areas such as program planning, engineering analysis, definition and analyses of alternatives, engineering design, and completion of support documentation. Bell-Boeing is the sole designer, degveloper, and producer of the V-22 Tilt-Roter Aircraft and is the ony source that possesses the engineering and technical data required to perform this effort in the timeframe required.
