The Combat Direction Systems Activity, Dam Neck (CDSADN) Virginia is tasked by Naval Sea Systems Command to provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Combat Direction Systems support to the German Navy. As part of this support, a requirement has been identified by the German Navy to provide the Dangerous Waters Naval Simulator software gaming engine system along with associated hardware and maintenance support to meet their simulation and training requirements. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 for this procurement action. This requirement will be awarded on a sole-source basis in accordance with the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1(a)(2).
