The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates awarding a sole source procurement to C.S.T. Connection, Incorporated. Scope of work includes providing for a PACS Implementation Coordinator who will serve as administrative liaison between VISN 8 Management, six (6) VA Medical Centers and all associated Outpatient Clinics, and the VISN 8 PACS contractor, Philips Medical Systems North America (Philips) in compliance with the Statement of Work. NAICS code #541611 applies to this procurement. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. No solicitation will be issued. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Information must be received before 2:00 PM, EST, August 20, 2008. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
