The purpose of this amendment to the pre-solicitation is to update the RFP issuance date, the date to submit questions and date to submit proposals for the Ideas Locales Activity.

The purpose of this activity is to enable citizens to enhance local development through effective engagement and advocacy with local authorities and other relevant actors on community-driven needs utilizing pluralistic citizen participation. This activity will be evaluated for impact through a randomized control study. Ideas Locales will enable citizens to enhance local development through effective engagement and advocacy with local authorities and other relevant actors on community-driven needs utilizing pluralistic citizen participation. The contractor will achieve this goal through two objectives: (1) Citizens' ability to prioritize their development needs and advocate for change utilizing democratic processes strengthened, and (2) Leadership capacity of targeted women and youth expanded. The Request for Proposal (RFP) number 72052418R00001 has been issued on FedBizOpps on January 3, 2018 with a deadline to receive questions on January 19, 2018 no later than 4:00 p.m. local Nicaragua time. The due date to submit proposals is February 21, 2018 no later than 2:00 p.m. local Nicaragua time.
