AFRL LMCA

The Air Armament Center has a requirement to provide Logistic Material Control Activity (LMCA) for the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate, Eglin AFB, FL. Operations to include, but will not be limited to the LMCA chief function, equipment control unit function, material handling unit function,, and equipment management accounting system requirements. The basic performance period will be beginning 1 January 2010 through 30 September 2010. The contractor shall supply all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and materials, to support the above requirement. Knowledge of the principles and practices of the Air Force Supply System, equipment, material management, procurement, material accounting procedures, principles of inventory control, and associated logistics functions are required. The government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract that will consist of the basic year with four one year options. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this agency. This will be a 100% small business set-aside utilizing North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 561110 with a size standard of $5 Million. The proposed issue date of the solicitation will be on or about 12 August 2009. The solicitation will not be distributed in hard copy.
