Verbatim Hearing Recording Services

This acquisition for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 15, as supplemented with additional information attached to this notice. The Social Security Administration, Region IV, intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Verbatim Hearing Reporters to provide Verbatim Hearing Recording Services for various locations in the Atlanta Region. NAICS code: 561492. The size standard is $6.5 million. This requirement is a total small business set-aside. Only those small businesses that can be responsible for handling entire caseloads for multiple states (2 or more) will be considered for an award. The Request for Proposals (SSA-RFP-R04-15-0002) will be posted at http:www.fedbizopps.gov or https:www.fedconnect.net on or about 4/15/15 with proposals due no later than 5/15/15, 4:00pm; EST. Paper copies of the RFP will not be available. No telephone, e-mail, mail or fax requests for a copy of the solicitation package accepted. ALL PROPOSALS SHALL BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH SOLICITATION NUMBER SSA-RFP-R04-15-0002. PROPOSALS MUST BE SENT VIA EMAIL, MAIL OR FEDCONNECT. FAXED RESPONSES NOT ACCEPTED. The Government may award multiple Requirement contracts resulting from this solicitation to responsive and responsible offerors whom offers conform to the requirements of the solicitation in terms of experience, past performance and price. Firm-fixed price requirement contracts will be issued, a base year plus four option years, with a performance period of 1/01/16 to 12/31/20. The selected offerors must comply with the following commercial item terms and conditions as well as any addenda to the solicitation. In addition, offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database before an award can be made to them. If the offeror is not registered in the SAM, it may do so through the SAM website at http://www.sam.gov. Prior to registering in SAM, you must obtain a DUN and Bradstreet number at 1-800-333-0505.
