ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: PREBID IS SCHEDULED FOR 9:00 AM ON JULY 8, 2004 AT THE UNITED STATES PENITENTIARY TERRE HAUTE. SOLICITATION ISSUANCE IS SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 22, 2004. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, for the North Central Region in Kansas City, Kansas is procuring for a contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials and tools necessary for the removal, abatement or encapsulation of abestos in the institution crawlspace and tunnel. Contractor will also supply and install approximately 60,000 square feet of Firestone Rubber Guard .045 EPDM reinforced roof membrane or equal. Residency requirements are applicable. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are elgible. The magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000. All responsive and responsible offers will be considered. This is a small business set-aside see numbered note 1. A pre-bid and closing date will be announced later.
