45--Preventive Maintenance for Sanitary Sewers

Contractor shall furnish all necessary travel, labor, materials, and parts required for the quarterly and yearly inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance (PM) of Sanitary and Storm Sewers for a base year period of performance of 1 May 08 through 30 September 2008 and (4) one-year renewal options, subject to the availability of funds. Location of work shall be performed at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 50 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20422. Preventive maintenance shall be conducted on the following at the designated timeframe: Quarterly: 1) One Scupper/Sanitary Drain 2) All Sanitary Sewers that connect to Main Kitchen areas and wings A, B, C, D, and E (Site Plans will be provided) Yearly: 3) Eleven Patio and Storm Drains 4) All Storm Sewers that connect to Main Kitchen areas and wings A, B, C, D, and E (Site Plans will be provided) 5) Approximately 32 Catch Basins located on various locations on facility grounds 6) Six Storm Inlet Drains located on various locations on facility grounds Intent of 100% Small Business Set Aside. Proposal must be advantageous to the government considering only price and the price-related factors. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 562998.
