G -- RFP 200-0942-NE, Residential Reentry Center Services, Albany & Rensselaer Counties, New York

The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability for providing Residential Reentry Center (RRC) services for male and female Federal offenders within the counties of Albany and Rensselaer, New York area. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons' Statement of Work entitled, ?Residential Reentry Center, dated August 2000, amended through July 2006.? This is a firm-fixed unit price requirements type contract. The services are estimated to be 89% male and 11% female. The estimated number of inmate days is 23,392 (males) and 2,924 (females) for the initial two-year base period; 11,680 (males) and 1,460 (females) for option year one; 11,680 (males) and 1,460 (females) for option year two; and 11,712 (males) and 1,464 (females) for option year three, respectively. The solicitation will be available on or after October 29, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
