·Provide Lodging for Military Sealift Command civilian mariners (Civmars) in the Norfolk Area. Provide daily round trip transportation from the hotel to Naval Base Norfolk (NOB) and Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach, VA.·Must have at a minimum a AAA 2-Diamond Rating ·Estimate: 100 rooms per night ·Please provide name and location of back-up hotel if applicable ·Hotel must be within a 20-mile radius of NOB ·Hotel and back up hotel will be inspected by MSC Health/Enviromental team prior to award recommendation. ·Basis for award: (1)Location, (2)result of MSC health/environmental inspection, (3)amenities, (4)socio-economic (use of small and small disadvantaged businesses) ,(5) cost and (6) result of review of VA Health Department inspection reports and Pest Control reports. ·Period of Performance: 19 Sep 05 – 31 Dec 05. ·You are to provide the following no later than 1400 hours 02 Sep 05: 1.Name and Location of facility 2.Name and location of back-up hotel 3.AAA rating 4.List amenities (restaurant on premises or within walking distance; laundry facility on premises, 24-hour desk attendant, 24-hour security, etc. 5.Price per room per night 6.Price per round trip 7.Total price for lodging and transportation assuming 100 rooms for 104 nights.
