Synergy Circuit Card Assembly Repair

Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers, Patuxent River MD intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with DY 4 SYSTEMS INC Kanata, Ontario CN, a division of Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, Dayton OH for the repair of a Synergy Circuit Card Assembly used on Avionics Peculiar Support Equipment in support of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast, Jacksonville FL. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i). This firm is considered the only provider for this requirement as the original equipment manufacturer of the circuit card assembly needing repair. DY 4 has the requisite knowledge and specialized engineering capability, resources, subject matter expertise, and sufficient technical data to satisfy the Government's requirements within program funding and schedule constraints. The Government does not own current data, drawings or other specifications to permit full and open competition. A determination by the Government, not to open the requirement to competition based upon response to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be received within three (3) days of publication of this notice.
