Notice of intent to issue a sole source Contract, it is not a request for competitive quotations. The U.S. Army Mecial Research Acquisition Activity, Fort Detrick, MD anticipates awarding a firm fixed price nonpersonal services contract for the con tinuation of breeding, daily and emergency care (to include semi-annual physicals, testing and vaccines) and housing of approximately 150 SPF Government owned Indian Origin Rhesus Macaques Non-Human Primates with Covance Research Products, Denver, PA. Int erested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. All quotations (with capability statements) received within 5 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however , a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
