CONNECT and Blue Button Exhibit

Notice of Intent to Issue Sole Source Award The Department of Health and Human Services, Program Support Center (PSC) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority 13.106-1 (b)(1), to Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), 230 E. Ohio Street, Chicago, IL, to construct eleven (11) kiosks for the CONNECT and Blue Button Exhibits HIMSS13 Conference and Exhibition March 4-7, 2013 in New Orleans, LA. The HIMSS is the only source that can order supplies and services to construct kiosks for the members and participants that will attend the annual conference. The Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) is a corporate member of the HIMSS and attends the annual conference each year, and all members and participants must enter into an agreement with the HIMSS for the exhibit kiosks. The agreement will authorize the HIMSS to establish eleven (11) kiosks so ONC will be able to exhibit and demonstrate CONNECT and Blue Button exhibit. Supplies and Services Required: This a requirement to purchase the services of HIMSS to construct eleven (11) kiosks for CONNECT and Blue Button Exhibit. HIMSS will provide the following: 11 kiosks which will be occupied by federal partners labeled with project specific signage, carpeted and equipped with electrical and network connections. 8 30 minute Showcase theater Presentation times which will be used by Showcase partcipants. Incorporation of ONC marketing aids such as Use Case and Blue Button flow diagrams and project decripstions into the Interoperability Showcase document distribution Promotion in HIMSS print and online marketing materials
