GYM FLOOR RESURFACING

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), McKean, Pennsylvania intends to issue solicitation RFQP020900216 for the resurfacing of the existing gymnasium floor in the FCI McKean recreation department. The successful contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to grind down existing gymnasium floor, prepare floor for base coat, and apply the wear coat in accordance with the Statement of Work, Specifications, and Drawings. The period of performance is 45 days after receipt of the notice to proceed. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be available on or about December 15, 2015 with an anticipated closing date of February 17, 2016. It is anticipated that a site visit will be held on January 6, 2016. Although not mandatory, all quoters are encouraged to attend. No other site visits will be scheduled. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http//www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this solicitation, including any amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Faith Based and Community Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
