Steam Pipes

Steam Delivery and Condensate System Requirements: Awarded contractor shall obtain and deliver the following to the Institution Warehouse within 75 days of contract award. The equipment must also meet or exceed the following additional characteristics:  All service piping shall be designed and manufactured in accordance with ASME B31.1  Stress analysis of piping system to be completed by dimensions and design conditions provided. Contractor must provide proof the system will perform within limits set forth for allowable stresses in code, based on conditions provided.  Contractor must design system to accommodate for service pipe thermal expansion.  Steam piping to be fabricated to job dimensions.  Condensate piping to be shipped in single and double random lengths.  All fittings to be prefabricated with tangents.
