AMENDMENT NO. 2 to REQUEST FOR LEASE PROPOSAL (RLP) RLP NO. 36C25621R0037 Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Jackson, MS March 25, 2021 The following amendment is hereby made to Request for Lease Proposal (RLP) 36C25621R0037 issued March 11, 2021: Section 1.02, AMOUNT AND TYPE OF SPACE AND LEASE TERM (SIMPLIFIED) (SEPT 2013) to RLP No. 36C25621R0037 is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following: 1.02 AMOUNT AND TYPE OF SPACE AND LEASE TERM (SIMPLIFIED) (SEPT 2013) 1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks to lease 234 surface parking spaces in close proximity to the VA Medical Center, located at 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson Mississippi, 39216. The spaces will be for use as a commuter hub for employees, Veterans, and other stakeholders traveling to the VA Medical Center from the surrounding areas. Parking spaces shall be segregated or identified for the exclusive use by VA. 2. The parking facility shall be paved, striped, and well-lit. 3. Lessor shall make the parking facility available to VA Twenty-Four Hours a day, Monday through Friday. 4. The Lessor, at its sole cost and expense, shall be responsible for maintenance of the parking facility. Maintenance shall include re-lamping of lighting fixtures, paving repair, sweeping, and snow removal. 5. The Lessor, at its sole cost and expense, shall provide security personnel for the parking facility from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday. 6. The Lessor, at its sole cost and expense, shall provide within the parking facility, an adequate shelter for VA employees to wait for VA shuttle transportation from the parking lot to the VA Medical Center. The structure must be in compliance with local ordinances, building codes and is subject to VA’s approval, which will not be unreasonably withheld. 7. The Lessor, at its sole cost and expense, shall provide shuttle services from the Leased parking area to VA Medical Center located at 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Avenue, Jackson Mississippi, 39216, at a frequency of one (1) round trip per thirty minutes from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, Monday through Friday, as outlined in Exhibit B of this RLP.
