Closing Agent services for Southern Mississippi

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has a requirement to provide closing agent services for the sale of HUD-owned single family (1-4 units) properties located in Southern Mississippi. The counties where the services are required include: Adams, Amite, Covington, Forrest, Franklin, George, Greene, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jefferson Davis, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Lincoln, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne, and Wilkerson. The primary objective is to perform closings of HUD-owned properties within 60 miles of the subject property. The contractor is expected to coordinate with the Asset Manager (AM) contractor to accomplish the closings within the allotted timeframes. The contract duration will be for a one-year base period and two one-year options. More detailed information concerning the work requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity website on or after 05/19//2010. Potential offerors who download copies of the solicitation from the website will not automatically receive any amendments to the solicitation. Offerors are advised to check the website frequently to see if any amendments have been issued for the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 541191with a size standard of $7 million average annual receipts for the past three years. This requirement will be solicited as a competitive procurement and a total small business set aside. All proposals will be due 30 days from the date the solicitation is issued.
