This Notice of Intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order is provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Office of Acquisition Services (OAS) on behalf of the Division of Safety Research Protective Technologies Branch 1095 Willowdale Road Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Morgantown, WV 26505.(SRPTB) SRPTB has a requirement of a motion capture system from VICON, Inc comprised of the following: 1) 12 units of Vicon Vero v2.2 cameras 2) 2 units of Vicon Vue video cameras 3) 14 units of Vicon Camera Cable - 30 m 4) 1 unit of Vicon Active Wand IR 5) 1 unit of 26-Port PoE+ Gigabit Switch 6) 2 units of PoE or Giganet to PC cable 7) 14 units of Manfrotto 056 Junior Head 8) 12 units of Super Clamp (US) 9) 2 Small Tripod (US) 10) 1 Dual Video PC 11) 1 Large PC Monitor 12) 1 Basic Life Science Accessory Kit Pearl 13) 2 units of 19-mm Pearl hard marker on a plastic base (10 pack) 14) 1 license of Vicon Nexus 2.0 software 15) Vicon system warranty 16) On-site Setup and Training The intended recipient of this purchase order is Vicon Motion Systems Inc., 7388 South Revere Parkway, Suite 901,Centennial, CO 80112-3997. This order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding to this notice and/or submitting proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive responses; however, all proposals received within 7 days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
