39 SFS Mobile Ballistic Shields, Incirlik AB

Incirlik AB, Turkey is seeking vendors capable of providing Mobile Ballistic Shields for the 39th Security Forces Squadron in accordance with the attached Salient Charactertistics. Please review attachments for instructions for firms to formally submit their quotes. Primary Government point of Contact: SSgt Hayley Prato and TSgt Jonathan Slayton. Questions relevant to this notice shall be sent electronically to [email protected] and [email protected]. NOTE: This requirement is set-aside for local vendors in Turkey per the DECA. The Defense Economic Cooperation Agreement (DECA) restricts competition to Turkish vendors only. Set-Asides do not apply outside of the continental US for use overseas. This requirement will be solicited as full and open competition to currently known vendors from our vendor list at Incirlik, AB. Contract Type will be Fixed Price. Firm fixed price contracts are mandated for Commercial items, in accordance with FAR 12.207(a). Award will be made to the offeror who provides ALL requested items conforming to the solicitation, and whose offer is the lowest-price, after the following conditions are met: 1. Offer is deemed technically acceptable, by the requiring activity. 2. Offeror is eligible for award e.g. registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), with no current exclusions. ****FUNDS ARE NOT CURRENTLY AVALAIBLE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT**** The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solcitiaton, the Goverment has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
