The Shoshone National Forest and Bighorn National Forest are seeking interested contractors to provide fuels management services for treatment of vegetation to reduce the risk of wildland fires. The anticipated solicitation and any resulting contract will be to conduct slashing, girdling, lopping and scattering of slash, selective thinning, pruning, hand piling, fire line construction and maintenance, snag felling, mastication, chipping, and seeding for vegetation manipulation, treatment, and burn unit preparation. Information provided will be utilized to determine the viability of awarding a multiple award IDIQ contract for a base with four, one year options.
