The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is seeking interested sources from both small and large business, for the proposed procurement of Ballast, Base Course and Screenings. Current projected quantities are Ballast (Zero Minimum Quantity with an Estimated Maximum Quantity of 50,000 Tons), Base Course (Zero Minimum Quantity with an Estimated Maximum Quantity of 90,000 Tons) and Screenings (Zero Minimum Quantity with an Estimated Maximum Quantity of 50,000 Tons). For this procurement the Government will be utilizing a Request for Proposal (RFP). Material shall be ODOT certified and comply with the most current regulation/specification set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), Reference Section 703.01, Aggregate for Aggregate Base. Aggregate shall originate from a site that is shown on the ODOT website page, "Materials and Testing e-Guide - All Approved and Unexpired Aggregate/Stone Listings", or provide documentation from ODOT that the site is approved to supply the requested aggregate, per the ODOT specifications and testing. Neither source can have a PI greater than 8. The material contribution minus 200 shall be from a limestone source. Mixing shall be obtained by means of a pug mill to ensure a constant mix, with no water added.
