Vault 3 & 4 Upgrades Request for Information Sources

The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to obtain industry input on our efforts to gain a contractor that will assist the Depart ment of State in replacing the Vaults 3 & 4 electrical distribution and equipment, located in the Harry S. Truman Building. Some of the items include: demolition, HAZMAT abatement, architectural, medium voltage feeder replacement, low voltage feeder replacement, switchgear replacements, new bus feeds, electrical panel replacements, transformer replacements, network protector replacements, raceways, lighting, rough-in for security systems, and AE construction admin support. The project will entail numerous outages, which all need to be coordinated in advance with the appropriate State Department point of contact. The Contractor shall adhere to the phasing plan described in the construction documents. The purpose of this RFI is to assist the Government in conducting market research. This information will be used for market research only.
